Laurence, together with other 17 contestants from the different Regions in our country, was asked to paint his self-portrait on how he sees the cultural diversity of the world. Each of the participant is given 9 hours to finish his work of art.   Laurence's work fascinated the viewers.  There's an enchanting element that has made his work enticing to the viewer's eye. In fact, most of the audience asked to take pictures of Laurence and his work.  Some even congratulated him in advance.

The day after the contest, the winners were announced at the ZKN Convention Center of Dipolog City.  The announcement of winners took too long because of the several competitions from the different subject areas.  Yet, it was worth the wait hearing the name of Laurence Arambulo from Region IV - A CALABARZON as Second Placer of the Sining Tanghalan - Pintahusay in the National Festival of Talents.  Laurence, together with his coach--Cherrylyn Villadiego, claimed his recognition.

Last 2016, he was also the representative of Region IV-A CALABARZON for the Sining Tanghalan - Pintahusay in the National Festival of Talents.  Laurence's talent is truly an astonishing one.  Beyond this impressive skill is a mentor named Manilito T. Mondejar -- a visual artist that had built Laurence's confidence and skills in the discipline of art.
